Questions to ask your REALTOR®

Interview Questions to ask your REALTOR®

Have you ever thought about interviewing a REALTOR® before? Most people don’t, or don’t know what to ask. Even just sitting down with a few to see who you feel most comfortable with is better than not doing anything at all. There have been a number of times, where I have gone into meet new buyers (I call it a “meet and greet”), and there are a few comments I hear again and again…

-          Tania, I was working  with another agent, but I don’t want to work with them anymore. I want to work with you! How do I do that?

-          What do I need to do to work with you?

-          Tania, I was never told that before and I have learned so much. What is the next step?

These buyers are saying these things for a couple of different reasons: I have given them the information that other realtors have not. I have asked them questions, and encouraged them to ask me questions. And I have answered questions that they didn’t know they wanted to ask or know about, until I brought it up.

So, I have decided to take away some of the unknown, and help you out. I am going to give you a list of questions that you can ask while you are interviewing your REALTOR®, and I am going to give you my answers (in blog format, over the next few weeks). I am doing this, so you can better understand who I am, and how I do my business.

I hope this helps, and please feel free to contact me with other questions you may have, or if you are ready for your “meet and greet” meeting.
